Summary
Title
Passionate about quality
Description
I have thirty years of experience in the industry working originally as a digital hardware designer and later as a software engineer in both public mass-market equipment and high-end engineering projects. Throughout all of my career I have striven to create excellent quality work that is demonstrably the best in its class.
I was lucky enough to have been involved in the alpha stages of .NET as early as 1998 and have probably one of the longest experiences of the framework outside of the redmond campus. I am currently a Visual C# MVP and have worked on hard-core graphical systems and user interfaces for over ten years.
My web site, http://www.bobpowell.net hosts one of the most popular FAQ lists in the world of Windows Forms and graphics and I am an author of many articles and an early book on .NET.
My current focus is on WPF and Silverlight.
