BlackBall is an OEM software provider specialized in search and management of data located wherever there is storage, including desktops, laptops, servers, NAS, but also semi structured data sources like Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Outlook, etc. Everything is distributed ("centralized" is a four letter word!) Metadata can be assigned to any piece of information and sticks with data is it goes through its life cycle.
As the CTO, I am in charge of all technical directions of the company. I am also the largest contributor to the actual code base.

Created a web-based conferencing system to share Microsoft PowerPoint slides, web pages, desktop, whiteboard, etc. with a large number (thousands) of participants. Everything except the desktop sharing was done using Java. Our IPO got yanked right before the .com bubble burst. Sold ourselves to Raindance Communications instead.
